What does a 2024 membership include?​

• 18 Member submissions (Picture Book [Fiction, Non-Fiction, Rhyming] Manuscripts or Query Letter Only) between January 5 and November 15, 2024. [This is to allow the Judges to Rate and Return manuscripts prior to December 1st and enjoy their holiday before the new year starts.] Want to Submit CB/MG/YA? Contact Us for Details.

Are you open for member registration all year long?

Registration is limited and opens up to the general public on November 1, 2023. Historically, Membership has been open until February 28th. However, in the past, we filled all available spots and closed early. So, if you want to be assured a spot, be sure to register early. Membership will close as soon as we are full and no additional memberships will be available until next year in November for 2024.

 

However, we will offer special enrollments from time to time. We also offer one-time Speed Passes for non-Members, so that's another option when we aren't taking members. Thank you for understanding.

Rate Your Story is offering fun new membership features with Mentoring Services to help you get the most out of the year!

SILVERSTAR MEMBERSHIP (New Members): $275/Year!

​

GOLDSTAR MEMBERSHIP (Returning Members): $275/Year! 

 

• Plus, Goldstar Members will receive a FREE ½ Hour Consultation with RYS /The Picture Book Mechanic Owner and Administrator Lynne Marie to discuss your writing and career goals. This Consultation must be scheduled in January, 2023 and may be upgraded, if desired, for extra time, or to include manuscript mentoring or developmental idea discussion. 

 

PLATINUM MEMBERSHIP: $465/Year 

• Includes ½ Hour Consultation Per Month (January - November) with RYS /The Picture Book Mechanic Owner and Administrator Lynne Marie

DIAMOND MEMBERSHIP: $665/Year 

• Includes 1 Hour Consultation Per Month (January - November) with RYS /The Picture Book Mechanic Owner and Administrator Lynne Marie

All Memberships must be paid for annually, in advance. We do not currently offer monthly payment plans through our website. Note: When you purchase through PayPal - there are options offered at the PayPal site to be billed later. Please look into those options to see if it might be right for you. Or contact our Administrator at RYS.CyberOffice@Gmail.com to discuss a payment schedule. The purchaser will be required to cover any and all associated fees as a result of the payment plan.

Memberships are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another year or another person. If you have purchased a special membership option, it is up to you to schedule your once-a-month meetings as early as possible to assure getting a spot that month. While we can make a one-time exception, all other consultations need to occur monthly. Thanks for understanding! We look forward to having a great year with you!
