MARCH ON WITH MENTOR TEXTS: Registration Post

WELCOME to the third annual Rate Your Story March On With Mentor Texts event!

Mentor Texts are very important to us as writers and I am happy to be able to have an event to inspire writers and authors to use them effectively and successfully and well as to introduce new books to read!

This year got off to a rough start for me with a very very sick parent and other obstacles, but I love the concept of March On With Mentor Texts so much and want to keep the light burning. So this year, I am "marching on," but we are going to do things a little bit differently.

REGISTRATION: Registration will remain the same in that you will need to register at the bottom of this post by typing your name and sharing a favorite mentor text and telling us why it's good. We are happy to take registration comments all month -- I truly understand that one may be late to the party but can still catch up! So register anytime before March

31st and you are good! To start off the fun -- I will be gifting away two one-half hour Mentor Sessions to two persons who register in the first week!

MENTOR TEXT POSTS: To be eligible for prizes, please read each and every post and be sure to comment on each one. Sometimes, we will ask that you share a post and tell us where you shared it for extra bonus chances to win a prize.

READING LIST: Unfortunately, the reading list will not be posted prior to the event as we are off to a late start. However, if time permits I will create a list and add the mentor texts daily and then share the post at the end. You can always collect the mentor texts and re-read the post for relevance. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

MONTH OF POSTS: Like last year, which was also a challenge with health issues and commuting between Florida and New York, we will only have posts on week days. This will give everyone a chance to catchup on reading posts and me to catch up on posting them!

PRIZES: Please note that prizes will be posted on this blog in or about one month of the conclusion of the event. Please make sure that you follow the blog to get the post notfication. Check here, rather than e-mail as I am trying to streamline the process. The prize post will have instructions on how to claim. Please read and follow the directions. Prizes will include critiques, mentor sessions, books, special acquisition opportunities and MORE!

AUTHORS: As a byproduct of being behind, I still have spots open for authors to share their their books and the mentor texts they used to write them, or similar themed texts. We are still happy to take on additional authors, so please e-mail me if interested. We are so happy to feature you and promote your books! And you will get this nifty graphic for your social media and/or website! Thank you to those authors who are or will be giving back / paying it forward! We celebrate and appreciate you.
